Developing the style and approach of your programmes
What kind of programmes and which approach towards your audiences?
- In Module 2 you gained a good understanding of your target groups. With this in mind, how would you like to secure community engagement in your Public Health programme? Work with the matrix – and discuss how this would work best in short, medium and long term?
Which atmosphere and style will you want to generate with your programmes?
- Still, with the target group in mind, and their answers in the Module 2 interviews you carried out: what kind of programme do you plan? Last week, in module 2, you drafted a vision, a goal for your programme series. What does this mean for the style of your programme? For the atmosphere? Will you be sharing cool facts or rather generate a warm atmosphere and engage emotionally with your audiences. What does that mean for your plans?
Which programme formats will you want to use?
- Having decided on the above two sets of clarification issues, (i) your approach to and the engagement of your audiences; (ii) the atmosphere and style you want to create, then: which of the presented programme formats would be good? Which do you already have good experience using? Should it be a mix as a magazine programme?
What about languages: only one, or more? How to handle this?
- To be discussed and decided!
