After having listened to the audio for Module 0 and worked your way through the above written introduction to the ‘Online Learning Resource’, you are ready to move to the first stage of the planning work in your editorial or thematic group.

The tasks today, preparing the onward work to build up a Public Health Programme Series – are some practical, organisational steps:

• Firm up the group participation: who is a part of this learning and co-creation process?
• Agree who leads the work of the group. It could be a shared responsibility between two. But it is important that there is someone(s) in the driver’s seat.
• Who takes notes during the sessions? This may not seem so important today, but after some weeks, it can be hard to remember what was actually agreed. Again, this can be a shared responsibility, but it is important that it happens.

It is recommended to do one module at a time – maybe meet up at the same time, the same weekday once a week? This, to allow for time to digest and reconsider the decisions taken.
